Job Description
Position: Deputy District Attorney
Location: La Junta, Colorado
Pay Range: $85,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on experience.
Job Description: The 16th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in La Junta, Colorado is seeking a Deputy District Attorney. This is an entry-level position and will be responsible for the prosecution of misdemeanor offenses in county court for the district, which includes Otero, Bent, and Crowley Counties. This position will include a substantial amount of courtroom time. Qualifications: Must possess a law degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado OR meet the requirements of the Colorado Student Practice Rule. Must have exceptional communication skills necessary to effectively prosecute and represent the Office of the District Attorney.
