PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT & WHY

We collect and store information that you voluntarily provide as well as data related to your use of the site and services as follows:

                Personal Information

We collect person information such as name, address, zip code, email address, phone number, occupation, employer and other information from which your identity is or may be discernible through the voluntary submission of our contact and event registration forms. This information allows us to process your registration and maintain a database of training attendees for grant reporting purposes.

                Financial Data

Financial information, such as data related related to your payment method, (i.e., credit card number, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return or exchange a product or event registration from the CDAC website. CDAC doesn’t store this information, however, it may be stored by our payment processor – PayPal. We encourage you to review the PayPal Privacy Policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

                Aggregate Information

CDAC collects statistics about the behavior of website visitors in aggregate but do not request or collect any personal information from users as they browse the website. The only way that such personal information comes into our possession is if you – the user – provide it to us both knowingly and voluntarily.

CDAC is able to collect such aggregate information, in part, by recording internet protocol (IP) addresses. When your device logs onto the internet, the network that provides you with access to the internet assigns your device with an IP address. These are only used in aggregate with no connection made between you and your device’s IP address.

Any personal information provided to us despite our not having requested it (e.g., email address) is maintained in a secure environment, held in the strictest of confidence and never shared with a third party unless explicitly stated in this privacy policy.
