The 22nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office handles cases in Dolores and Montezuma Counties. On average there are 2,000 new cases filed each year. Our office is comprised of 17 employees that include DA, ADA, 4 Deputy DA’s, 4 legal assistants, an Investigator, Victim Witness Unit and an off-site Diversion Program. We are located in Cortez, Colorado — ideally situated between Moab, Telluride and Durango with access to outdoor activities.
