Legal Assistant

 

 The Office of the District Attorney for the 9th Judicial District is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team. Be part of a supportive team working to accomplish meaningful change. Your duties will include:

The Legal Assistant for district court/felony prosecutions or county court/misdemeanor/traffic prosecution provides data entry and document preparation on the office network case management system.  These duties include docket preparation, case file management, attorney assistance, preparing out-of-state subpoenas, requests for extradition and detainers, backup for other legal assistant positions as needed, training, organizing work areas in the office, and other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Passing of a background investigation
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Prior experience preferred but not required

 

Starting Salary Range:

$48,000 – $85,000
