Mastering Motor Vehicle Theft Prosecutions

This training endeavors to train prosecutors on effective techniques when presenting a MVT case to a jury.  The course also takes a look at why these types of cases have a much larger effect than first meets the eye.  The course points out all of the associated and attendant crimes that relate to MVT.  We also attempt to provide the tools for the prosecutors when working with law enforcement about what more can be done in an investigation that would lead to a successful prosecution.  There is a focus on each of the categories of MVT and the elements required of each.   The course’s overall goal is to teach prosecutors how to effectively work with LEO and identify what pieces of evidence are most important to each individual case, which ultimately will lead to more desirable outcomes.

In addition to MVT and associated crimes prosecution and investigation topics, you will also learn practical and legal tips on how you may be able to use those cases and how to find some additional evidence for establishing predicate acts to bring COCCA charges, if certain conditions are met.”
