Firearm Relinquishment and Domestic Violence
In 2021, the mandatory protection order statute was revised to address firearm relinquishment in domestic violence cases. The implementation has varied with the resources available, and loopholes have been addressed. The storage of firearms continues to be a challenge. This webinar will provide useful information about qualifying protection orders, bond conditions, affidavits, declarations and compliance hearings.
