This webinar will cover key Ethical topics including defining ethics, common ethical pitfalls, and an overview of Rule 3.8 — Special Responsibilities of a Prosecutor, including Comment 1. The session will also address Rules 3.4 on Fairness and 3.3 on Candor to the Tribunal. The EDI portion will focus on recognizing, mitigating, and eliminating bias through a discussion of Batson challenges and effective responses. It will also explore ways to promote equal access to the legal system, including strategies for recruiting attorneys from diverse backgrounds.
