TSRP Program
The Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor program is a grant-funded initiative by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and managed by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) providing law enforcement and prosecutors with training, education, legal research and technical assistance pertaining to traffic safety and impaired driving.
TRSP Staff
With nearly two decades of experience in traffic safety and prosecution, Jennifer Knudsen took on the role of managing the TSRP program for CDAC in 2014. Her role includes providing training, legal research and technical assistance for numerous stakeholders throughout the criminal justice system. Jennifer was previously a judicial law clerk in the 1st Judicial District, a deputy district attorney in Colorado’s 18th Judicial District and served under the Arvada City Attorney and the Colorado Attorney General.
Joining the CDAC staff in 2015, Nicole Walpole serves as the organization’s coordinator for the TSRP program. Her responsibilities include updating databases for the project, maintaining program materials and keeping law enforcement and district attorney offices across Colorado up-to-date on available trainings, webinars and resources. Nicole is driven by her passion for supporting all law enforcement, prosecutors and other criminal justice stakeholders in every Colorado community – especially those with limited resources.
