Misdemeanor Prosecution Skills Course Fall 2025

Misdemeanor Prosecution Skills is an intensive five-day training program designed specifically for prosecuting attorneys with less than six months of experience. This comprehensive seminar provides a practical, hands-on approach to developing the essential skills required for effective misdemeanor prosecution.

Under the mentorship of a distinguished faculty of experienced prosecutors and legal experts, participants will work through every stage of the prosecutorial process, from initial case review to trial advocacy. The course features two realistic mock cases, a domestic violence case and a DUI case, allowing attendees to apply legal principles in a simulated courtroom setting.

Through a combination of lectures, interactive workshops, and trial simulations, participants will strengthen their understanding of case analysis,  plea negotiations, working with victims, evidence presentation, and courtroom strategy.

Please note this course was formerly known as “Trial Techniques School”
