Job Summary:

We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office support person to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a receptionist and be the primary point of contact to the public both on the phone and at the front desk as well as providing administrative and clerical support as needed to ensure efficient operation of the office. This person will assist the Executive Director, Deputy Director and staff attorneys through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls/emails in a polite and professional manner
  • Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Take accurate minutes of meetings
  • Maintain contact lists and databases
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Assist in the office and elsewhere as needed for CDAC hosted trainings
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must pass criminal background check prior to hiring

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
  • Salary based with light in-state travel and support during events
