One of the most important aspects of the district attorney’s role is to ensure that those who are harmed by criminal behavior receive the support they need, remain informed of the status of their case and are protected.

The VRA

Colorado’s Victim Rights Act (VRA) guarantees those who’ve been victimized the right to be heard, present and informed.

DA Services

Within a district attorney’s office are specialists that provide services to victims and assist them in the criminal justice process.

Community

There are numerous community resources, services and advocates for victims available outside the criminal justice system.
