This 8 hour class will be divided into a Report Writing session and a session covering Search and Seizure.
A good report is an essential part of a good investigation. The objective of this session is to strengthen skills and provide techniques for law enforcement to construct clear, convincing, and accurate reports.
The second half of the day will be a primer on a search and seizure in DUI cases. We will specifically address Gant and it’s progeny as well as some general search incident to arrest issues
This training is open to Law Enforcement, Prosecutors, and Other Traffic Safety Professionals.
