Job Description
Located in the heart of the San Luis Valley in Southern Colorado. Opportunity to work as an Investigator for the top Law Enforcement agency in the Twelfth Judicial District covering 6 counties: Alamosa, Rio Grande, Conejos, Costilla, Saguache and Mineral Counties. Salaries competitive with Colorado’s metropolitan District Attorney Offices. Low cost of living. 90 minutes away from Monarch and Wolf Creek ski resorts. You will have the opportunity early in your career to handle a wide variety of cases including misdemeanor and felony cases under the supervision and training of our Chief Investigator and district attorneys with more than 40 years of litigation experience. Duties include, but are not limited to investigating sexual assaults, sexual assault on children, domestic violence and stalking cases, as well as coordinating and collaborating with law enforcement and partner agencies. Candidates must be post-certified. Prior law enforcement experience or training in investigating sex assaults, domestic violence, or stalking cases a benefit.Â
Salary: Up to $70,000, depending on experience
