Company Description

The 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office is unique because our boundaries don’t extend past the Mesa County line, unlike many Districts in Colorado which encompass multiple counties. Our office currently has 71 employees and is growing. We think one of our best qualities is being outside the office… Who can say they have a National Monument in their backyard? Everyone in Mesa County can! Along with the amazing views and great hiking the Monument offers, it’s matched by the outdoor recreation opportunities on the Grand Mesa. In between is the confluence of the Gunnison and Colorado Rivers, complimented by world renowned bike trails, orchards, vineyards, farms and urban areas. If you enjoy being outside, recreating, hunting, camping, rafting, fishing or just soaking in stunning sunsets — Mesa County is calling you. Grand Junction is the largest city in our County, and the largest hub between Salt Lake City, Utah and Denver. Our school district offers bilingual, STEM and Gifted & Talented opportunities, along with private schools, school of choice and charter schools. We are home to Colorado Mesa University with a flux of about 11,000 students who come from all over the world. Mesa County’s population is about 155,000 with home ownership levels near 70%. We average 245 sunny days a year, significantly more than the US average of 205 sunny days a year. If you are looking for quality of life experiences, along with robust legal career, consider joining our team. MESA COUNTY, COLORADO Ride bikes along the Colorado River, on the river front trail system. Take in the breathtaking view of the Palisade area. Stunning views on the hundreds of hiking trails.
