Victim Witness Assistant

The Office of the District Attorney for the 9th Judicial District is seeking a Victim Witness Assistant to join our team. Be part of a supportive team working to accomplish meaningful change. Your duties will include:

Under the supervision of the Victim/Witness Coordinator, ensures implementation of victim’s rights as mandated by law, including attending court hearings, trials, and witness management.  Provides emotional support to victims and/or witnesses regarding criminal justice.  Provides translation, as needed, for Spanish-speaking victims of crime.

Required qualifications:

• Passing of a background investigation
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Prior experience preferred but not required

Starting Salary Range:

$45,000 – $60,000
